The decision to sponsor the 2018 Recovery Tow Show seems to have proved, beyond any doubt to have been a successful one for Creative Funding Solutions. We had a very busy and productive two days at the Telford International Centre touching base with existing clients and making new contacts. The Gala dinner gave us the perfect excuse to let our hair down and party the night away to some classic 80’s tunes! That said we were all up bright and early the next day to make the most of the second day of the show and again we enjoyed a positive day with a mixture of existing and new customers.

Since we have been back we have certainly seen an upturn in recovery sector business, originating from a mixture of existing customers, contacts we made at the show and new companies that have seen the show coverage across all the social media platforms. Creative are confident that going forward we can be the first point of contact for any financial requirements within the recovery industry, our diverse range of products and credit appetite from multiple funders, along with our personal approach provide the perfect combination to satisfy all funding requirements within the sector.

Creative has also decided to make RISC – Recovery Industry Support Charity the main charity that we will support, the work that they do in the immediate aftermath of a roadside accident affecting a recovery operative is vital and very reassuring to all employed in the sector. In conjunction with this, we have also decided to promote the Slow Down Move Over campaign #SDMO and were delighted to see that Paul Anstee was the very worthy recipient of the Tom Johnson Special Recognition award at the Gala Dinner. We are very proud to say that all our cars now display the Slow Down Move Over campaign sticker and we continue to promote this through our own social media platforms.

We were also delighted to see that our good friend and customer Andy Nock of Dynes Recovery group was the worthy winner of the Ernest Smith Memorial Trophy. Samantha Cockerill was this years ‘recovery hero of the year’, together Samantha and Andy form the very reason that we need to support RISC and Slow Down Move Over – Samantha’s partner, Steve Godbold was a Dynes employee who sadly lost his life in a roadside recovery incident in September 2017. Out of these tragic circumstances, it is uplifting to see the industry unite to ensure everything possible is being done to try to avoid this being a regular horrible consequent of being employed within this sector. The launch of the new Parliamentary group, supported by RISC should hopefully pave the way to give this industry the recognition it deserves to be widely thought of as the 4th emergency service.

Of all the products we have that are tailored to the recovery industry, since the show we have had the most take up on 7-year funding on used vehicles (up to 15 years old at the end of the finance term). We have also spoken to many recovery operatives about the new ULEZ regulations which are going to be upon us within the next 6 months, Creative will be working hard to offer support to companies affected by this and have a range of products that will ease the impact that this new legislation will undoubtedly have on the recovery sector.

As you will know from our involvement with the show, Creative is all about being visible, we pride ourselves on meeting 95% of our customers personally and get to know the individual requirements of each customer before we offer information on the different options available.

Our team is waiting to help and support you with your next finance requirement and we are certainly feeling the passion shared by each of you about this sector, please do give us a call to discuss any requirement you have now or in the future, we can help.

Mike Lowe, MD of Creative Funding Solutions said, ‘We are absolutely delighted with the response we have had following our decision to be the main show sponsor, we were made to feel so welcome at the show and the Gala dinner and have already started to help support businesses within this sector. We already had existing customers within this industry and we knew our products were a good fit but to now have had that affirmation we are thrilled’.
